Poll question: Who is your choice for Democratic presidential candidate in 2008?
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 08:36 PM by Sapphire Blue
IMO, a combination of any of any of these people would make a phenominal Presidential/Vice-Presidential team. (Personally, I'm tired of the typical Hillary/Kerry/Biden/etc polls.)

37. Id say we're doing pretty good. Our unemploymet rate is much
lower than other parts of the nation. Being near DC and the Chesapeake Bay helps.

Ehrlich isnt helping though. He's vetoed numerous pieces of legislation that would have helped working families. Including a minimum wage increase, a health care bill that would have made walmart and other large employers pay more of their employees health care costs, and a tuition cap bill which would have capped the rate at which college tuition can rise per year (rates has increased 40% since Ehrlich/Steele took over). He has also made very deep cuts in primary and secondary education in order to balance the budget.

8. Thanks for a non-DLCwhore poll!
Though I could vote for any of the above, those in the House and Senate should stay where they are, because they are NEEDED there. Gore should run, and he can win. After all, he already did, and a lot of the people that voted the wrong way in 2000 (Diebold and Kate Harris aside) won't be making that mistake again.

I agree that we need them in Congress, but would gladly vote for any of them as pres/vice-pres.

Since Kerry was not included in the poll, Conyers. He, too, is the real deal.
