An early thank you for DU Military, families, and veterans

I wanted to be the first to extend a holiday thank you for the men and women in uniform on DU. Your the best of us and give our anti war cause legimatcy. I also want to say that I am also so sorry that due to circumstances beyond your your caught up in the Chimps power trip.
So I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you and anyone who has family or friends over an Iraq . We can take some solace in onething though the democratic party is truly made up of veterans - not mercenaries.

I was born on an Air Force base, grew up as an Air Force brat and am an Air Force veteran; the military is in my blood and it hurts to see these neocon chickenhawks abusing them.

The only difference is that while i dont believe in gun control I can't personally touch one. As such I didn't go in the service. That caused a huge rift between me and my old man for awhile am glad it's over now.
