Just having Fitzgerald identify the Washington media 'elite' is worth a lot
Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 08:25 PM by NNN0LHI
Because this is where we need to start anyway. We always suspected this type of thing was happening but we have never actually seen it exposed before as we have.

Kind of goes to prove that any persons idea or opinion posted on the internet really has become at least as credible as most of our top news services.

If nothing else ever comes out of this investigation we will always have this gift. No one will ever be able to un-ring this bell.

"Liberal media" is one of the biggest lies out there.

2. Exactly
Whenever anyone says "liberal media" to me I laugh my ass off and than once I'm done laughing I tell them how if that was true John Kerry would probably be in the White House.

3. Let's put it this way:
Certain select DU'ers have a better track record than the Times or the Post.

LBN, and it's ilk, are now the "paper" of record.

6. Excellent point, Don!
It's like a wonderful side benefit from the investigation. I hadn't thought of this angle, but it's true. It really rips the scab off of the entire soreful arrangement between the White House and the press.

Great observation.

7. Thanks for this post....Yep....back to the old days of the "Media Whore's"
Website...where we all realized what we were up against with that sites exposure of what we "suspected" but weren't sure if we could say out there in "polite company."

This is going to be intereting...how many Media make Libby's Case their own in a battle for "Freedom of the Whore Press." Yet, honest reporters like Matt Cooper (who pointed out that Bushies were going after Wilson) got and get caught up in having to hire lawyers and pay big bucks to defend against the Woodwards, Russerts and the rest who've been privy to favors from the Kings for years.

I hope it does expose what WaPo and NYT's and others have been up to since they good lazy and started to do "stenography" ...but who knows where it will go. We have to have hope...and if it goes nowhere, we have a NEW PRESS here on the INTERNET...so all is not lost...until they work to take that away.
