6. The campaign mode will not work b/c

Bush cannot hide from his failures and he cannot separate himself from all that is going wrong right now(the list). This whole blame the Dems and putting the burden of his bad decisions on the heads of Dems is not going to help him. The spin machine is spinning out of control and the more Bush and co deny the truth and their responsibility the lower his numbers will stink.

10. I think people are realizing that he is campaigning against himself....

it makes him look more insecure. He lashes out against Democrats when even those in his own party are questioning him. He can't run a campaign now because most people wouldn't even vote for him. As Kerry rebuked him saying you can't be Commander in chief, when your the Campaigner in chief.

11. Too Many Issues...Democrats Remain Scattered

A great list, but name the ONE issue that unites all the Democrats? The war? Well for some it's the actually war, for others it's Plame, for otbers it's torture....and so on...there's too much out there to chew from and it seems focus scatters that has kept Democrats from really coming together and giving Repugnicans ways to "get off the hook".

Fortunately the Repugnican hubris and lies are starting to back-up on them, but this isn't a Democratic victory...yet...it's a win by default. It's time to start giving priorities to the important issues that need to be front and center in next year's elections and leave the side issues to be debated when we're in a position of strength, not weakness.
