4. It is true...

He has managed to create a threaat for this nation for perhaps decades to come. When, he had the opportunity, to take care of the problem in Afghanistan and save a lot of lives and prevent a lot of future terrorism. However, his ego and arrogance steered him toward Saddam and we have no idea where it will all end. Painting schoolhouses in Iraq is hardly proof of anything other than we have more paint than bullet-proof vests.

...to keep repeating that the war in Iraq has made the U.S. more secure, that Iraq is the central front in the war on terror, and that "we either fight them in Iraq or we fight them in New York City."

Now just think about how foolish that last phrase is. For starters, the 19 hijackers of September the 11th weren't Iraqi and weren't affiliated with Saddam Hussein. Even claims that Mohamed Atta met with an Iraqi official have been debunked pretty thoroughly.

And since when does eliminating one horrific regime guarantee safety to the world? It never has and never will.

And does the Bush administration and its allies in Congress really believe that all terrorists, home-grown and otherwise, have been thwarted by this? Only a fool would take that position.
