Iraq dilemma
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 02:30 PM by lyonn
How can the Iraqis feel they have power to control their country, that would include all religious sects, while U.S. military are patrolling their streets causing fear and loathing, invading homes even if they have Iraqi soldiers with them. We are the invaders, they did not ask us to save them from Saddam.

The Iraqis need to Believe they are about to be in control of their country. If we in the U.S. don't have an idea when we are leaving how can we possibly believe the Iraqis have any faith that they will truly Ever be in control.

Let the Iraqis know we will have no permanent bases in their country without their approval.
