They always make a big show of "supporters" waving and cheering as he boards the helicopter. I guess I was under the impression they were tourists or visitors to the WH. I didn't think they just dragged the staff out on the lawn for the little "wave goodbye" show. Did you?

5. The White House is not the small...

...intimate, little federal office portrayed on the West Wing, but a very large and vast bureaucracy. Most staffers never get a chance to see Weak and Stupid, so when the opportunity presents itself (or they're forced to have a mandatory "fun day") they get herded to the lawn to blow kisses to the Boy Blunder.

Remember, when Noxious Dick resigned in disgrace, many staffers were weeping for the criminal when he departed the White House.
