Frist concerned more about leaks than secret prisons
It is hard for me to believe that a Senator from the United States of America would say this:

~snip~ WASHINGTON (AP) -- Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist says he is more concerned about the leak of information regarding secret CIA detention centers than activity in the prisons themselves.

Frist told reporters Thursday that while he believed illegal activity should not take place at detention centers, he believes the leak itself poses a greater threat to national security and is "not concerned about what goes on" behind the prison walls. ~snip~

1. Um, but it's Frist.
Or were you being facetious?

2. Anyone who would fraudulently adopt cats
to perfrom vivisections on them is pretty obviously a sociopathy and would do or say most anything.

The man needs a good long prison term to think about his behavior(s) and with any luck- he'll get it.

3. I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more coverage or discussion.
I haven't had a chance to follow the news as much as usual the last few days but my jaw dropped when I read about this today.

To use a rather trite expression...the unmitigated GALL. I mean, of course we all KNOW he feels that way, but for him to actually say that PUBLICLY, with no fear of repercussions?!?

Does anyone know how the response (if any) has been to that comment, on either side of the aisle?
