"We need MoveOn to lend its considerable weight to this national issue. It affects every single one of us if even ONE citizen of this country is made to vote on a machine where their vote is counted in secret by proprietary software owned and operated by partisan corporations. We MUST stop it now or NOTHING else we do in working to get issues addressed and candidates elected will matter.
Without a return to VOTER VERIFIED PAPER BALLOTS, we will witness the death of democracy as we have known it in this great nation of ours.

Concerned citizens are scrambling around in many states individually attempting to address this and, while some have been successful, there is no cohesive effort, no national organization that's been willing to help coordinate and streamline the process.
