Whatever happened to

I lost track of a couple threads and can't find them in the archives.

There was one person on an island in the Yukatan, right when Wilma was coming through. His ID was something like mexicopat. He was telling everyone that the storm was about to hit and then he dropped off. Did he ever check back in? I hope so.

then there was a woman, I think her ID was Binka or something like that. she got a notification that her son was injured in Iraq. She flew out to Iraq to see how he was, but I never heard how her son is.

if anyone could update me on these i'd appreciate it. thanks.

1. MXPat has checked in and is fine. Binka is currently in

the US taking care of her son Ben, who is improving daily. It's all good news!

but that's the last I know of her. The son was in hospital in US
