4. With that, I am off to bed. I rest assured knowing that my fellow Dems on
the West Coast will watch over the results for us. I told myself I had to be in bed by 2 no matter what--and I am happy to go to bed with a lead!

Don't let me wake up to a nightmare now. Keep coming NO VOTES!

19. I'm with you
And look at that, the Freeper Repukes in our county didn't get what they wanted...

awww, poor babies...:sarcasm:

Both my husband, who is still a registered Republican, and I are very glad that 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, et. al., are not passing.

We are both very glad, for the sake of young girls with shitty parents who have to make very hard choices, that 73 is not passing.

BTW - we're in the 951 as well. Southwest County. Which part of the 951 are you in?

It was in the heart of the African American community and the lines were wrapping around the block.

It was a thing of beauty.

Edit: The lines wrapped around the block all day long.
Men and women in wheel chairs and walkers and even a young adult on crutches!

Everyone was so proud to put on that little sticker that said, " I voted!"

God Bless America!

Got to go to bed now, we worked the polls for ten hours without any food or breaks...could not stop because it was a magnificent experience to see Democracy in Action.

37. Prop 75 pulled a pretty good passing manuever.
When I saw the figures earlier this evening, it was something like 55%Y/46%N, though less than 20% of precincts were reporting.

Willie Brown said he thought it would pull a 9 point comeback.

I happen to be a member of two unions in Calilfornia :patriot: and I also belong to the ACLU.

I am so glad that the groper's attempt to bust up the unions in California did not work.
