1. Now that would be interesting....
If true, it's going to be interesting to see what Rove does to Republicans who threaten his position.

2. Lott has very good reason to hate Bush and probably Rove
I think it highly likely that Rove backed the idea to put Frist in as majority leader.

3. Yes, it takes one criminal to know another
Rove and Frist are both under investigation now. Lou Dobbs is saying that Trent Lott is 'talking tough' to the WH. He's going to be on Lou Dobbs in a few minutes, I think, as well as Sen. Durbin. Durbin has been great lately. He's great in an interview, because he's very clear and easy to understand. The Freeps must be losing their minds after trying to destroy him for telling the truth about the torture this administration has condoned. He's back on track and going strong. He knows the truth, as he said in 'Dead Wrong'. He's been frustrated by not being able to tell the public that the WH was lieing before the war.

4. Ah, yes, forgot about that
It was probably Rove that decided Lott had to go as ML. Probably to cut off the bad press.

And, as I remember, it was a classic 'pile-on' of both politicians and media, clearly fed by the Rove Mighty Wurlitzer(tm).

6. Fine, Trent. Now it's time to start questioning whether ...
Dubya or Cheney should stay in the White House.
