Anyone think Joe Wilson would ever run for office? From what I have
seen lately of speeches and interviews coupled with some of his history in Iraq makes him seem like a born leader.

1. He said no, because he was, "a child of the sixties."
He said he had too many skeletons to bother.

He would be and excellent choice for either Secretary of State or Ambassador to the United Nations.

on edit: We have lots of time to debate who should be the Democratic President to appoint him. :hi:

5. Yes
Agreed, Joe Wilson would be an EXCELLANT Secretary of State. The Ambassador to The UN, I'd like perhaps Wesley Clark in that role or Richard Holbrooke.

President John Edwards...hey, a girl can dream can't she? :hi:

4. He is very strong,
speaks well, reasons carefully, is well-educated, patient, experienced, and likable. I don't know, however, what his stands are on issues other than his wife, honesty in government and protecting members of the CIA. Also, I don't know whether he is really all that interested in politics beyond the Plame issue. By that I mean, I don't know whether he would want to spend 24/24 dealing with issues like domestic budgets, FEMA, military deployment, health issues, Social Security, race relations, public education, environment, parks, highways and all the other dry policy matters that occupy most of a politician's day. He is certainly a good communicator when talking about something he is interested in.

6. I caught his speech to the National Press Club on C-Span
last night. Very, very impressive. I wish Tweety, Fineman, Mitchell and all the other WH shillers would watch it - then they might stop their lying crap.

He mentioned Andrea Mitchell in his speech - said that the only time he had ever seen the forged documents was when she handed them to him during an interview. He did not have his reading glasses with him so he could not even read them. My question? Why did Andrea have a copy of the forged documents and also, why was she trying to ambush him with them? It is no wonder she keeps lying about him - she is part of the neocon spook movement.

10. He said if Condi ran, he would, just so
he can oppose her. His voice dripped with disgust for her.

12. Why?
The establishment hates Joe. Give him some time to relax, maybe Dems who are already in office can frickin' do something for once.
