A beautiful Treasongate haiku ... from the least likely of places
I present this exactly as I found it, including the use of bold and italics by the original author...

Someone on FOX News
said the Left is calling this
Treasongate, and they

plan to use the trial
of Libby to get people
like Cheney et al

to take the stand and
answer questions under oath.
The analyst said

the ultimate goal
is to force Bush to resign
just like Watergate

was only the start
of the string of issues that
forced Nixon to quit.

1. Nixon resigned because of the Watergate break-in
and the ensuing coverup. No other reason.

Kind of like the coverup occurring now. As a matter of fact, just like it.

2. Hope the freepers enjoyed that one
Can you imagine the frothing at the mouth in Freeperville if President Clinton's administration had blown the cover of a covert agent specializing in WMDs for vindictive political purposes??

3. Buzz Lightyear: "I don't believe those Freepers are enjoying any of this"
(inspired by "I don't believe that man has ever been to medical school")

4.  Nicely done. Very focused and free of noise.
I'm impressed.
