Considering that right wingers predicted the Plame case would blow over, a Libby indictment is wonderful news. Fitzmas is real!

Rove is just a PR guru anyway. Libby is the VP's right hand man!

I gotta say it...

... wait for it...

... wait for it...

... wait for it...

This is hugh!

And the best part...

It ain't over!

That is all. Carry on.

:applause:

2. one conservative told me a few days ago.....
....that he didn't think there would be ANY indictments!!

When I asked him why he thought that, he said it was just a feeling. Hopefully Fitzgerald will prove him wrong today....

4. I think he is right
6 months from now, people won't remember this. Americans have very short memeories when it comes to this type of thing. They may not trust republicans but they won't be able to tell you why in 6 months. I think he was right on this one.

But if Americans won't remember a Libby indictment in 6 months, then I doubt they would remember a Rove indictment for much longer.

A very high level White House official is about to be indicted. Rove might have cause to celebrate, but right wingers have absolutely no cause to celebrate. In fact, despite the happy face right wingers are trying to put on, they are down in the dumps. Today is a very bad day for Republicans.

5. sorry, but the msm has been given their talking points. no
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 10:36 AM by okieinpain
matter who is indicted, the msm and repug talking heads will point to the one's that are not and say "see he/she didn't get indicted, so it's no big deal".

It's utterly amazing the bullshit they are allowed to get away with.

11. They weren't paying attention.

Neither were most in the media. In the flag-waving euphoria of "embedded" reporters, in the endless shots of military equipment, tanks skidding across the sands of Iraq, many people never even questioned what we were doing or why.

12. Speaking of reich wingers,
I hope the mods are on their toes. They've started swarming this week, and after the noon release of paperwork, the swarm will grow larger with these cultists trying to spin this. While it's sweet to see them suffering and making fools of themselves in the process, it does tend to get tiresome after a while.

If Cheney is implicated (PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN), the cultists will be going crazy.

15. Let the right wingers swarm! Today is a sad day for right wingers...
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 11:02 AM by The Night Owl
Any right winger who sees an indictment of Libby as cause for celebration is in deeper denial than Baghdad Bob was when the US rolled into Baghdad airport.

And like I said before, the right wingers never imagined the Plame case would go as far as it has so far.

16. The denial runs thusly:
"Rove is not indicted! Rove is not indicted!"

They fail to acknowledge that he is not indicted...YET...and that he is still under investigation (which should tell us all something).

Besides, even if Dim Son himself were indicted, the right wingers would try to spin it as a good thing.

As many have pointed out, Bush could eat a baby on live TV and right wingers would find a way to excuse it.
