C-SPAN *not* airing Kerry's speech on Iraq?!

They generally give him the brushoff in terms of recording or broadcasting his speeches (pretty much the only time he's been featured on Road to the White House since the election has been in their coverage of the questionable documentary, Inside the Bubble) but to not film a speech like this, of major importance to the nation would appear to go against everything they're supposed to stand for. Not to mention that it was in GEORGETOWN -- hardly a stretch for them to get themselves over there!

According to a friend who just phoned them, C-SPAN is not covering this event at all, thus depriving the electorate of their only chance to see this speech.

I encourage everyone here who agrees with my sentiments to call and or write C-SPAN right now to complain.

I watch C-SPAN all the time, but I am beginning to feel that their lack of coverage of not only John Kerry, but also some other Democrats is bordering on discrimination and partisanship.

That would be a major omission if they didn't air it.

8. These aren't the best examples, but it does show that they do keep

track of what is NOT reported:

"NBC did not report on Bahamonde's testimony, despite having obtained exclusive copies of emails between Bahamonde and Brown's press secretary that corroborate the former's testimony and despite breaking the story of their existence on the October 19 broadcast. Specifically, the emails showed that Bahamonde emailed Brown on August 31 to warn that thousands of New Orleans residents were without food and water and that he estimated that many could die within hours. The next message Bahamonde received from Brown's office was an email from his press secretary to colleagues advising them to allow Brown enough time to eat dinner at one of Baton Rouge's restaurants, which were "getting busy"

The one that I was looking for, and which is gone, is one which involved a newsworthy piece of information that was circulating in the blogs, that didn't make it into the MSM. MediaMatters reported the names of the cable and broadcasting stations which left it out of their news.
