Bush is very very happy with the UN Today (Bush declares Monday UN day)
After the UN Report on Syria he has gone as far as declare this coming Monday United Nations day from this day forward.
------------------------------------------------

Sixty years ago, the United Nations was created to spread hope and liberty, fight poverty and disease, and help secure human rights and human dignity for people everywhere. On United Nations Day, we recommit ourselves to the ideals on which this organization was founded.

Throughout history, the human spirit has been tested by the forces of darkness and evil. Since its founding in the aftermath of World War II, the United Nations has worked to solve problems and harness the best instincts of humankind. Today, we must continue efforts to ease suffering, spread freedom, and lay the foundations of lasting peace for our children and grandchildren.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby

proclaim October 24, 2005, as United Nations Day. I urge the Governors of the 50 States, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the officials of other areas under the flag of the United States to honor the observance of United Nations Day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

2. He got one part right at least . . .
"Throughout history, the human spirit has been tested by the forces of darkness and evil."

I guess it takes one force of darkness and evil to recognize others at work . . . and to help them along.

4. Yeah, www.icasualties.org changed W's tune on the U.N.
He said they were irrelevant until he realized he committed our troops to a quagmire. Now he's singing a new tune, how long before we get rid of this idiot?

8. October 24 has been UN Day by Presidential Proclamation since 1945. . .
First proclaimed by President Truman to commemorate the establishment of the United Nations, it isn't a holiday until it's officially declared one each year by the President.

6. Seems like it could be a kiss of death from Godfather George.
Neither he nor his cronies like the UN and would love to see it dissolved.

11. The Nation is Broke: We OWE over $7,000,000,000,000.00, our Nat Debt
Nothing in the Bank. Our Deficit is over $400,000,000,000.00 per year and under Bush...its gotten worse every year...Under Clinto..we had a surplus.

All them tax cuts did shit...it was a scam

All them teachings Bush had while in college...meaningless as he proves he didn't learn anythin..shamefull waste...
