elected officials, both executive and legislative, can only declare war if their first degree relatives (parents, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters) are enlisted and on the front lines....cousins don't count...if an orphan, official has to go himself. That means you Hillary, george, joementum, mccain. Easy for you to kill other people's children, how about your own? We elect you to keep us out of war: any idiot can go to war, it takes real effort to solve world problems. This just might be the motivator to work out disputes.

Sorry, I appreciate what you're saying, but mandating military service for family of elected representatives is more oppressive than sending volunteer troops to fight in a war.

No mandatory military service, period.

The United States is forbidden to go to war unless it is to prevent territorial invasion. It's the same thing isn't it?
