It used to be in the yellow box at the top of the forums, but it's gone now. I somehow neglected to bookmark it and now I need to give it to a friend. Will someone please give me the link that that thread?

There is a long long long way to go on the gulf coast. We need to continue to work together on this. If there is not a Katrina relief forum, could the list be pinned somewhere? Even on the Activist forum but preferably in GD?

4. I agree completely - it should be in the Activist forum at least

and I did look there. It's a HUGE mistake to simply wipe it out. As if all the problems from the hurricanes are also wiped out - but they will not be for a long time to come.

14. thank you, Sapphire! This or a derivative of it really needs to be linked

to from the DU home page, even if it's just a small clickable box. The need for aid will go on for many months yet. Just because the corporate media have decided to turn their backs on the hurricane-devastated areas and their people, that's no reason for DU to. We're different, we care - right? Right?
