Edited on Thu Sep-29-05 07:32 PM by xultar
responders in City X go to the disaster and are killed in a second attack specifically designed to get first responders. So, there's huge devastation, fire, many civilians hurt, it is a mess. If the first responders can't deliver food, water, etc assistance

WHO THE FUCK WILL since FUCKIN FEMA only makes sure the supplies get there?

Are they gonna hire trucks and make the fucking VICTIMS unload the trucks and distribute?

If the fuckers in congress and the senate aren't scared shitless they aren't doing us any favors.

The fuckin poor ass kool-aid drinkers should be quaking in their beds @ night and they aren't.

WHY AREN'T THEY? Has this shit not dawned on them yet? We are gonna get attacked now. I'm almost sure of it. The terrorists know that there ain't shit goin on over here. They are gonna fuck us up and then watch us fuck ourselves up in the aftermath.

:grr:

1. and if City X is attacked
FEMA will certainly send truckloads of ice to City Z, halfway across the country, for no apparent reason.

And Halliburton will get the cleanup contract.

10. Remids me of Jon Stewart saying we'll fight the floods in Arkansas so
we don't have to fight them in New Orleans.

2. what attack could equal this?
even a suitcase nuke would only take out one town or one city center

this took out more cities and towns than we have a full accounting of, whole towns like waveland & cameron gone that never would have been bothered by terrorists or warlords or even the russians, plus major cities like lake charles & new orleans destroyed

the terrorists would just look like pansies if they try to compare themselves to this

anything they do is anti-climax now

5. You don't get why they do it. They wanna embarrass the administration
now would be the perfect time. They know our shit doesn't work. They would wanna cause devastation and shock and awe.

How can a natural disaster we knew was coming enlist shock and awe...the shock and awe came afterward cuz we fucked ourselves. Well Bush's Brownie fucked us.

6. this administration is beyond embarrassment
if they aren't ashamed of themselves by now, it's hopeless

i think there is a reason the terrorists have just stood back & let it all be

why expend money, blood, and sweat to do what will happen naturally?

4. Take a deep breath...
It would take a full-fledged ICBM to do what these two hurricanes did. That's unlikely. If it happens, we are screwed, though. No doubt about that.

Damn now you have me hyperventilating.

7. Nope all it takes is 2 big bombs. No biggie. I'm not talking about the
widespread destruction just the destruction of our first-responder forces cops, police ,etc.

11. Actually why do it
I am not being fascitious but at this point it ain't about embarrasing the administration... they have done that alraedy... the only reason they wuold attack is to make sure Muricans continue defending this moron. He has done far more damage to the US than OBL coudl even dream off in his best days.

12. and who are the ones that get hurt/die?
you can be damn sure it won't be the criminals in their suits and ties in wahington DC & elsewhere.

it'll be the people that have the least, & their government which has been systematically plundered and dismantled will be unable to respond.

I am furious because I have worked in the rental assistance field for 25 years - managing federal rent subsidies and bush has basically gutted what was a valuable program over the last 5 years.

I have seen first hand bush & cronies gut the federal governments domestic program under HUD. They want to destroy the role of the federal government in all social & domestic programs.

We actually don't even have to worry about foreign terra-ists, the criminals in charge our government are doing an insidious inside job of hurting our citizens.

13. I totally agree! And well put...
This whole Katrina/Rita mess shows how badly prepared we are for a terrorist attack. I can't believe the Dem Senate leaders aren't in full force, on every TV show they can get on, DEMANDING that the President hold special independent investigations ASAP on this matter of national security...

The Dem Senate leaders should be protesting THEMSELVES outside the WH demanding an independent inquiry now!
