I was listening to WGN radio a month or so ago, and they had Dave Thomas on.

I talked to him for several minutes, and he told a great story about Bob Hope, after I mentioned that he does by far the best Hope of anybody...I was coughing/laughing on the air. he was on for about an hour and just killed. the host said it was one of the best shows he'd ever done.

they sent me two DVDs of the old shows, most of which I have on Beta tape at a friend's house....I'm afraid he tossed em, though. I used to tape every show back then
