2. He thinks he's exempt, unlike the Anal Cyst,
who seems to have understood his lawyer's clearly worded 'SHUT THE F UP!'.

I just heard Nofacts on Cap Gang promo'd by CNN newsreader Carol Lin, whose hair was still smoking from the blast she just received from ex-Agency Larry Johnson over CNN still pushing Nofacts out front for bushco, outing a CIA front co. Guess they haven't got the msg yet.

So, yep, he'll be on, but probably taking the 5th.

6. NOVAKula Looks Totally Ticked
Al HUNT just said that the issue is not NOVAKula, who "ought to tell anybody who asks his source to go to hell." They've gone all around the table leaving NOVAKula for last. Maggie CARLSON is beating around the bush, saying Shrub should just ask people, "Did you call?"

NOVAKula is on. He said he will honor HUNT's advice. He's saying again the name was giving to him in "an off hand manner" by somebody who is not an overt POLITICAL figure. He sez he doesn't think this will destroy the Shrub pResidency.

9. Summary of His Clues
1. Leaker is a male.
2. Not "political operative" (ROVE).

But he's danced the story around, saying nobody CALLED him (but he was over there somewhere INTERVIEWING somebody). Andrea MITCHELL was called.

He's totally subdued. Sez the KAY no-find DOES hurt Shrub. What variety of Conservatives ARE NOVAKula and Kate O'BEIRNE?----they constantly disagree with each other. He's technically a Registered Dem, no?

20. Rush probably gave him some little helpers to ease the pain
Novak looks ripped. But he usually looks ripped. I wonder if he smells as drunk as Safire.

He's been around so long I'm sure he'll survive, but I'll bet he looks over his shoulder a lot these days.

10. There's An Undercurent Here
Novak is no friend of the Bushistas...he opposed the invasion and detests Sharon and the AIPAC lobby...I wonder what's really going on.

11. Did anyone else hear that former CIA guy on CNN say Novak
outed the clandestine "front" business that Wilson's wife worked in as a NOC? He said Novak did this on air yesterday and CNN should fire him.

Outrageous...if ESPN can get rid of Rush, why the F can't CNN get rid of Novak..for jeopardizing people's lives and national security?

:grr:

13. The Faux Watch Token Lib Guy Neil GABLER
said the Sun-Times should fire NOVAKula. But the editor has said HE didn't question NOVAKula that much about it at the time, so HE would need to go, too.

14. Here's the transcript
It was during the "Inside Buzz" which aired yesterday with Judy Woodruff:

http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0310/03/lol.07.html

NOVAK: I don't -- I think it's interesting, (UNINTELLIGIBLE) important. But I deal in interesting things a lot. Joe Wilson, the -- everybody knows he has given campaign contributions in 2000 to both Ford -- I mean to both Gore and to Bush. He gave twice as much to Gore, $2,000, $1,000 over the limit. The government -- the campaign had to give him back $1,000. That very day, according to his records, his wife, the CIA employee gave $1,000 to Gore, and she listed herself as an employee of Bruster, Jennings and Associates (ph).

There is there no such firm, I'm convinced. CIA people are not supposed to list themselves with fictitious firms if they're a deep cover. They're supposed to be real firms, or so I'm told. So it adds to the little mystery.

17. WHY IS HE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH THIS?
He likes to say what a seasoned, senior 47 years in the business journalist he is and he doesn't have a clue about covert fronts? He cannot possibly be any more blatant a thug. Hit man.

18. Every Time Is See Novak
And this includes sitting in the audience of Crossfire at GWU, this guy reminds me of the Alister Simm's portrayal of Ebenezer Scrooge...sitting with Marley with their thumbs tucked in their vests.

Evil bastidge.

19. Good portrayal.
Can you imagine if Janeane Garafolo was on Crossfire and just happened to drop the name of a covert business that a NOC CIA was involved in, saying, gee I didn't know the CIA used phony businesses like "XYZ."

She would be in Gitmo today.

Wow, you were in the audience? I couldn't take it, my BP goes up too high just watching it on TV occasionally.

22. It Was A Great Time
Fortunately we sat in the second row just across of Paul Begala and had a chance to yell a couple words back and forth. The show is a lot of fun to sit in and watch and I'd recommend it to anyone in DC.

Novak either has some sort of deathwish (maybe he's gotten so old and bitter and he knows he's going to hell, he wants all of us to go with him) or he honestly thinks he's so above redress or questioning based on his 46 years of being a political hitman.

Again, I sense there's a third leg on this horse...where Novak was being used as a plant. It honestly could be that Novak didn't know that Plame was a NOC or her cover company was legit and had been getting this stuff and then finding out he's being dooped. I know the second time is puts this theory in suspect, but even Novak admitted he didn't support this invasion and you know how this regime has treated anyone, even one of "their own" who didn't goosestep properly.

Glad you had fun! You may be right that Novak is being used, but it doesn't change the story for me. He is a 2nd string leaker and it is he who announced this to the world.

23. No-facts is WRONG again (like that's a surprise)
"There is there no such firm, I'm convinced. CIA people are not supposed to list themselves with fictitious firms if they're a deep cover. They're supposed to be real firms, or so I'm told. So it adds to the little mystery."

BBZZZZZZZZZZT!

Oh, sorry, Bob, the correct answer is, "There is in fact a company called Brewster Jennings for which Mrs. Wilson worked as part of her cover -- but hell, anyone with a beef against the US, the CIA, and/or Plame, especially thugs and criminals looking to pedal nuclear materials, probably knew that after you, Novakula, leaked her name to them."

But thanks for playing "Spin the Tale on the Elephant." Enjoy your lovely parting gifts, and don't let the door hit you in the ass when you're locked up for helping to compromise national security.

25. Guess What----NOVAKula's "Outrage"
is the 3 Dem candidates (CLARK, DEAN, SHARPTON) who called for LIMBOsevic's firing. Not what LIMBOsevic did. The Dems.

O'BEIRNE's "outrage" was over the ESPN thing.

HUNT sez LIMBO's ESPN was at least "ignorant" if NOT racist.

27. There seems to be a pattern eh?
CIA Leak....the story is Joe Wilson is a liberal.

Rush the Racist...the story is how dare the Dems call him a racist.

Arnold names Hitler as hero...the story is how Davis uses puke politics.

WMD report comes up empty...the story is we need to look harder with more money.

I'm going to go certifiably insane due to these nutballs.

28. My theory on Novak is that Plame was a kind of loyalty test
You know like the Mafia or those street gangs in which, to prove your loyalty to the Bloods, you have to kill a Crip from the opposing gang. Since Novak had openly dissed the Godfather by opposing the gang war in Iraq, he had a choice: either we cut you off from all further inside, secret club business or you take this gun and show your brothers in crime you're still worthy of their trust. It's not personal, said the Michael Corleone, it's just business.
