End a DU double standard

I am angry angry at DU and sick of this double standard here. This tolerance of sexism..And tolerance of rape apologists and the rape mentality. It is sickening.

Look Rape is a CHOICE a rapist makes to commit a HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES.Being verbally abusive and minimizing to a rape victim to provoke her is being an asshole.INSENSITIVITY and sexism can harm wounded people on DU.And 1 in 4 women in America have been raped.That is alot of survivors that can feel put off by DU's tolerance of sexism.

If ANYONE here on DU agrees that the rape and pedophilia done in Abu Gharib was evil and wrong than DU should GET RID of the Misogynists and rape apologists on DU,too How about it mods?

For ANYONE on DU to defend a rapist, it means they have NO moral character and they are no better morally than the war criminals DUers condemn for raping little boys and girls at Abu gharib. Lets have some ETHICAL STANDARDS on DU..DU do we want these morally inferior criminals to be among us excusing rape demeaning women,excusing pedophiles calling rape victims whiners ,making DU look like a bunch of assholes,excusing rape and violation of consent?Rape ,wife beating and pedophilia are CRIMINAL ACTS.WE cannot have democracy if there be tyrants among us.

Does DU condone criminal acts only when the rapist pig says he is a dem?
Or does DU condemn rape wife beating and pedophilia and sexism as WRONG PERIOD? IF DU WILL NOT take care of RAPE APOLOGISTS..than what does that say about the character of DU?
IS DU is a SHAM when it says it wants DEMOCRACY? or NOT?

If a person uses a racist epithet they are booted off DU pronto.
Because racism is EVIL.We can all agree RACISM IS WRONG. But why isn't SEXISM seen as WRONG as racism is on DU?

In certain threads I see women being demeaned,rape victims telling their experiences called whiny rape victims, Women being called whores bitches etc. There was Advertisers on DU that were selling teeshirts saying the way to a womans heart is through her ribcage.. If this SHIT was said about another race like the way through a N_ heart is through the ribcage it would offend everyone and rightfully so..
So why is it ok to make women be the N- of the world DU?

IS DU a sexist apologist site or NOT?

Are you going to delete MY post here that calls this problem out openly.. but you let the woman haters and rape apologists posts go on?

Are you all on DU going to be truly ethical and remove the posters who are repeatedly provoking by being sexists,rape apologists who demean victims of crimes against humanity and trauma victims? Every thread about rape or womens issues brings these rape apologists out to be unreasonable critics, provoke,demean women and smear victims of sexism and rape as unworthy of being heard and taken seriously. These sexist posters who troll around to provoke women who suffered rape and abuses before cause alot of pain will you DU mods DO something to stop them please?

I for one am SICK of this DOUBLE STANDARD, about men and women and crime on DU. I am sick of this TWO faced TWO TIERED SEXIST pseudo claim to DEMOCRACY here on DU we have when sexist thugs can humiliate rape victims and sidetrack discussions..

Either the DU mods will be fair to all HUMAN BEINGS EQUALLY on DU and remove a sexist poster with no excuses like DU would do to a racist poster...or DU is going to have to admit it is a hypocrite outfit...

DU Please do the ethical thing, Rise above the rape culture,Stand up for a better world for REAL ,for ALL people and remove the sexist offenders from this place who are enjoying provoking and hurting women and rape/trauma survivors with their callous rape apologies and rape mentality.It triggers the hell out of me,and when it goes on too much I lose respect for DU. I know there are others here men and women who feel the same.
