Pat Robertson is praying that God remove 3 Supreme Court justices
and he wants God to give our nation guidance in the gay marriage ordeal.

So when God doesn't answer the prayer and these justices aren't removed and gay marriage becomes legal, that should send a message to Pat and many Americans that God actually doesn't hate fags and it's OK. Shouldn't it?

But of course, I'm a gay atheist and supposedly neither gays nor atheists have any morals. That's what I hear anyway.

3. Those three would be my choice too.
I hear God is an I-Ron. The Irony would be sweet.

5. Hmmmm.
Wonder if that could be considered a threat against U.S. government officials, therefore worthy of Secret Service attention?

6. I think Robertson already prayed for that...
If I were him, I would take the recent ruling as a NO.

7. I've been thinking the same thing.
If God doesn't do this for them, it clearly means one of the following.

a. God doesn't mind that gays may soon be able to marry. Pat should therefore drop it.

b. God doesn't listen to the prayers of the members of the 700 club. They should examine their belief system to determine why.

c. God is in fact Allah, and the Muslims are right.

d. God is in fact the diety of some other religion (who I won't offend by misspelling the name of their god), and that religion is the right one.

e. God was distracted by people that were praying for Bush. These people should learn to focus.

f. God doesn't exist. People should therefore stop sending money to Jerry, Pat, and all the others.

There may be other options.

9. He ought to pray for his own soul
about the stealing from the people to pay for his diamond mine in the Congo.

10. Pat should kill himself so he can take his case directly to God
I'm sure he'd be able to reason with our Lord.

11. And next thing you know, he'll be on MSNBC dismissing it and claiming
he was misunderstood just like he did when he made his post 9/11 statement.

12. I thought the only way that SCOTUS judges could be removed
was by death or inability to work.

Is Robertson praying for a recall? As in their death?

17. $%#^@!! Yahoo! has this on its headlines page (7:30 PM EDT)
Since when does a Pat Robertson "prayer offensive" qualify as news?!

It reminds me of a passage from Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land": "The new Bishop announced that the Angel Azreel had been nominated to guide the Supreme Bishop (after his death). Newspapers reported this as straight news, the Fosterites (Heinlein's fictional, politically powerful sect) having wrecked newspaper offices in the past."

Christian* music. Christian* movies. Christian* books ("Left Behind"). And now Christian* NEWS?! What's next, Christian* sports? (hey, maybe the Saints could finally win one! :-) )
