I'm curious...
With all the huge donations from movie stars, recording artists, Wal-Mart, for heaven's sake, and the smaller donations from all of us "little people," have any of the big oil companies contributed ANYTHING to the poor people of the Gulf Coast? Just wondering if anybody has seen anything anywhere ...

3. That's encouraging...
...although it would be great to see Exxon, Shell, et al. -- the big guys -- step up. I don't have any great hopes for Exxon, though -- 16 years later they still haven't settled up with Alaskans affected by the Exxon VALDEZ spill. It's not like they don't have the profits. :mad:
