He seemed to be amused that his son was taking flak. It was also obvious Clinton was trying to phyiscally distance himself from him as he was fielding quesitons. Pretty obvious where Jr. gets his I DONT GIVE A FUCK attitude.

3. I am sure papa Bush is used to Jr. getting into messes by now.
Only those messes keep getting bigger and bigger.

2. Agreed
George Bush Snr is ultimately responsible for this mess. That man was unable to accept the America's verdict on his failed Presidency. So as a result he pushed his own son into the void after the GOP went out of its way to ruin Clinton. To use your own family and eldest son to try and gain retribution is one of the cruelist things anyone can do, especially if that family memeber is not up to the task.
We all pay the price today because Poppy Bush cannot come to terms with his failings.

Today I too was disgusted not so much with Poppy, he would defend his own stupid son, but with the press corp. Laughing in fact hooting at how "The President can take it". These people need to know that USA is hurting, could you imagine them laughing after 911, but then the 'quality' of victim was so much better to these thugs.

America has a tarnished image around the world. How can the country ever regain the confidence of the world now that it has lost respect at home, I am not sure. And for Bush, Snr to find it funny, disgrace!

5. When you hear Big Dawg speaking after him, it is even more painful.

7. When Clinton first spoke...
...last week, he sounded like he really believed those people would be out of the Superdome ASAP. He was hopeful and positive. I'm sure he never imagined that days later they would still be there and not be allowed to leave. Just now he looked very tired and discouraged.
