Are Las Vegas casinos NOT comping rooms to the NO police force???

I saw Mayor Nagin on CNNI a minute ago. He said his staff was exhausted and their homes were gone. He needed to get them out to an area with a lot of hotels. FEMA was not saying whether they would pay for the hotel rooms. Nagin said he'd pay for them, and they could work it out later.

It's unbelieveable that Las Vegas has not comped rooms for Nagin's crew already! Christ, if it weren't for my relatives' gambling practices in Las Vegas, the city would go under over night!

We should be hearing in the media if Harrahs has offered to comp rooms. I spoke with 5 different people, and word is out among the LV casino folks that Harrahs will make the offer.

Until the MGM antes up, avoid it, and its member casinos.

On edit: So far its his hotels which are NOT comping the NO police. I've called two of his hotels, the MGM and Mirage, and I get the same press person who is friendly, but says they are not comping at this time.
