That's sooooo PRE-KATRINA
Start spreading it.

Whenever a right winger says George Bush is the security President, say that's sooo pre-Katrina

Whenever a right winger says race and class doesn't matter, say that's sooo pre-Katrina

Whenever a right winger says the era of big government is over, say that's sooo pre-Katrina

Whenever a right winger says George Bush is a strong leader, say that's sooo pre-Katrina

Whenever a right winger says ownership society, say that's sooo pre-Katrina

Each and every one of their glorious lies of the last 30 years collapsed in the flood waters of New Orleans. It's all so, uh, I dunno, PRE-KATRINA...

8. In a post Katrina world we cannot rely on our government to
protect us in the ways that they go after sovereign nations, or in the ways they protect states where their brothers may be governor. As stated previously, the world changed on 9/29/05

9. kick it
for a post-katrina world, where government cares, and race and class matter in our talk and in our policy as much as they do in our lives.

13. And we cannot appease hurricanes
by being so willing to abandon New Orleans, as Dennis Hastert have us do. Doesn't he realize that such talk only hurts the morale of the people down there? He just hates America.

16. We gave Katrina 7 days to turn from her course, we made threats,
we threatened inaction, there is just no dealing with someone who will not listen to reason... hence it is damn hard dealing with the squatter on Penn. Ave.

After all, the government seems as if it is being run with all of the foresight and planning of nursery school children.

The chimpministration has done more to expose our national security weaknesses than anything a whistle-blower or even an intelligence turncoat could have done.

Is this our "post-Soviet" moment? Remember how we found out that the Soviet Union had been a paper tiger since the 1980s?

Clearly, we have NO civil defense strategy other than maybe, "every (rich) man for himself."
