It's not just Bush!!!
That's what we need to remind people when we hear them bashing Bush...which is happening more and more frequently now. It's not Bush who's responsible for this...it's the whole "conservative" agenda. You can't take away from infrastructure projects within the U.S. in order to make your contributors more wealthy. To do so leaves EVERYTHING vulnerable.

But that's how these people work.

It's not just Bush. It's the Republicans.

Tell people...

"Don't be fooled. There are those out there who will use our disgust with Bush to try to paint themselves as different. Keep in mind that they stood behind him UNTIL it became politically expedient NOT to stand behind him. Don't be fooled. A vote for one of these guys (or gals) will lead to more of the same."

Make people understand. There is no such thing as a good Republican...

"And that goes for DINOs too. If up until now it repeated RW talking points and played the middle game, ignore it. It's poison. It won't give a rat's ass about the little people like those in New Orleans. DINOs are Republicans who play at being populists, but they don't mean it. The moment it becomes inconvenient they'll abandon us to feed their contributors, just like any other Republican."

when you "starve the beast".

The improvements to the New Orleans flood control system were labelled "pork" by the Halliburton lovin' Bush administration. And those funds were cut.

The results are sadly predictable.

5. It's the PNAC agenda. Bush's whole administration is
is staffed with them. Why ordinary Republicans, with the exception of Pat Buchanan don't speak up makes me think that they are very afraid.

It isnt just about Bush. Its the ENTIRE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA. Conservative policies have killed Americans abroad and at home.

What is so hard about "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" for Conservatives to understand?

Conservatives seem to forget what a government is supposed to provide: "Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare..."

CONSERVATIVES JUST DON'T GET IT

Bush could not have wrought this havoc on the nation without the complete cooperation of a GOP controlled congress.

Last time the GOP controlled both congress and the whitehouse we got the great depression.

Americans just don't like to learn from history do they?

10. They're not TAUGHT history...
they're taught how to memorize dates and factoids, not how one thing leads to another and how things are interrelated.

At least they weren't when I went to school, and I have no reason to believe it's different now.
