Watch Bush's approval ratings plummet from Katrina fiasco.
The inaction of the Bush Misadministration to the Katrina crisis on the Gulf Coast particularly in New Orleans is just disgraceful and poorly managed. I think after all of this you watch Bush's approval ratings go down even further.

1. Yeah, they're going to be in the toilet for sure now
When Jack Cafferty says that the administration has fallen flat on its face and the whole world is watching...you know it's hitting the fan.

3. If his ratings go up even a point, then it's time we demand that he
be impeached because if we don't they're going to declare him King.

4. I think his approval may go up...here me out
In the past two days, Bush's numbers seem to have reboounded to about 45%. Washington Post, Gallup, and now Fox. These were taken at least partially during this crisis.

Compared with polls showing him at about 36 to 40% last week.

An early CBS poll has Bush's appoval of this fiasco at 53%.

I have read other posts where people are saying that these media outlets are lying. But I don't think so.

ALL PRESIDENTS GET BUMPS WHEN DISASTER HITS.

Jimmy Carter, when he was President, jumped to 70+% after the Hostage Crisis started in Iran. But they recede when all the facts are known. Just as Carter's did.

The media and even Republicans are being very harsh on the Administration. I don't remember a time they have been this harsh. When the dust begins to settle in the next couple of days, or when the situation gets worse. Expect Bush in freefall. Back into the 30s. Maybe lower.

When the bodies are uncovered and investigations start. When Bush's handling (or lack thereof) becomes known more widely. When the Mayor of NO speaks out against Bush. When people begin to understand what really happened regarding cut funds, etc. The lack of preparation, etc. That's when the shit will fly.

That Bush's numbers jumped so little should be of great concern to him. I think this may be the beginning of the end for Bush. Just be patient.

It's a marathon, not a sprint.

5. ALL the media outlets are tearing Bush and his admin a new one
ALL of them. Even FOX I heard.

NOBODY is happy with how he's leading right now.

His numbers will take a hit. And when the first ballpark numbers come in for the number dead...
