I don't think Anderson Cooper is going to make through this broadcast
He's on the brink of breaking into tears.
He just laid our Democratic Senator out for kissing the Chimps ass.
I'd like to see about six hours of this guy and Jack Cafferty and NOT a three hour Larry King special.

We need the media now more than ever.
They seem to be taking some shots, but some like that twit Chris Matthews are still kissing the Chimps ass.

This is going to get much, much, worse before it gets better.

5. Isn't that the truth. Anderson Cooper has actually turned into
a real caring human being hasn't he?? I think the devastation has made him think twice about the bastards that are running our country. He just said reporters are suppose to remain distant, but there is no distance anymore!!!

If he wants Peter Jennings' job, he can probably have it
He used to work at ABC and I'm sure this coverage isn't being lost on his former colleagues.

6. Yes, he's very emotional.
He's been there amongst that misery for days...not just sitting in the studio fear-mongering.

7. I love Anderson Cooper
What a fine person. He let Mary Landrieu really have it. Good for him.

9. Miles O'Brien was tough on that jack ass ...
Halley Barbour this morning ...called bullshit on him big time. Jean Meserve tearfully made sure everyone was aware of the immense HUMAN pain and suffering.

10. I just emailed him a thank you
I've been critical of him in the past, around election time. He has shown character today that I will never forget. It will take a lot for me to turn on him again after today.

11. This is goddamned devastating.
It's amazing, watching reporters like Anderson and Kathleen Koch being human, weeping, shaken. Kathleen said it makes you want to throw down your microphone and just give them all the water you have in your truck.

She started talking about victims in wheelchairs, trying to make it miles down the road through the mud (!!!!!) just to get water.

"Nobody is coming!!" she cried. "Nobody comes. Nobody."

13. Katherine Koch just joined him for a live segment....
...she's from down there too....the two of them fought off the urge to just start bawling.

This is so sad.

17. I started watching Coop when I couldn't take O'reilly
any longer. O'Reilly is certainly more reasonable than Hannity, but I still get ticked from time to time watching him...And he would certainly NEVER go to Africa like Coop did last month. Coop is the man!

Be prepared for the march of the excusers, coming soon to a tv near you. They will be trotted out soon to 'splain why * has been so lame.
