Apparently the news isn't verifying the guest they put on. So don't
post what you hear on the news or read about NOLA. We have fact checkers who will review your posts before you are allowed to click the post messge button.

If you don't have a link or can't verify that CNN has verified you can't post.

That is all...

2. I was getting heat for posting what I saw on CNN from other posters
apparently there is a new rule. I thought I would share.

I don't consider myself a mod. People were pissing me off. I posted a story I saw on CNN and got flamed because people were questioning CNN's verification process and subsequently my post.

People are getting so snotty and ridiculous. I thought posting it clearly would help them see how ridiculus they are being.

7. What would I just pull shit out of my ass and post it. I don't hide
behind my Xultar persona.
If you see Xultar on any site ask if it is me and I'll let you know.

I don't lie make up shit or pretend. I am myself and what you see here is what you'll get if you meet me.

So I take it personally because I am myself out here. Not some fucked up faker.

10. people are skeptical, chill out, it has nothing to do with you
not everyone knows who you are or has ever seen you post before. lots or people read this message board. again, it is not a personal thing against you.

people see a claim that seems completely outrageous and unbelievable and they are going to be skeptical of it no matter who posts it.

it's silly to take this behaviour personally. just forget about it and move on.

i myself have been feeling pretty tense this afternoon/evening.
all the people stranded in serious trouble and seems hardly enough is being done.
i feel very frustrated by the fact that every american pays so much money into maintaining our armed services and yet the lightening fast capabilities of these armed services hardly seem to be used at all in such a dire situation.

where's the boats, helicopters and camps?
they are desperately needed.
time is running out for many

so yeah, it is making me crazy too. i can't believe how bad it is on so many fronts.

11. The traffic is just fine
I've lived here for ten years, and have little problem with the traffic here. Then again, I moved from DC, so it's all relative.

12. I lived in DC for a couple of years. I stayed down by the Watergate
So I didn't need a car. THANK GOD. I'd have never made it. I don't know how DC folk do it.

15. Denver's downright homey..
We got a Rethuglican governor that we're tossing out next year, and a great Democratic Representative, and our Dem Senator leaves much to be desired....

14. The funniest part is how so many people brag about not watching the news,
rag our asses for keeping an eye on the cable, and then want us to "prove it" when we watch what they can't be bothered with.
