Does anyone read "Baghdad Burning?"
The Iraqi girl blog at http://www.riverbendblog.blogspot.com/

Isn't it odd that there has been no update since July 15th?

Wonder what's up with that?

2. me too
I asked this same question here the other day. So far no one's come forth with any information. But that could just be my inattention or my unfamiliarity with the ins and outs of this forum.I'd really like to know. As I posted the other day I consider her a national treasure, both for Iraq and for us.

3. I have wondered that myself
I hope nothing has happened to her, she was a fascinating read, it made me aware just how wonderful the Iraqi people are and the hell they are going through.

4. Have put a couple of feelers out in the more resourceful corners of
blogosphere.

Electricity has been quite an issue in Baghdad. I'll remain optimistic and hope the cause is something like that.

6. Her blog has been published as a book
And a play based on her writings has been staged, so maybe... hopefully... she's out of the country somewhere being feted for her works.

Her posts have been sporadic at times in the past, usually with her apologies and an explanation. Her last post gives some concern though. It seemed to me that her posts tended to come on weekends, so here's hoping this is the weekend.

Edit: Just read Benbow's post, sounds like everything's ok.
