FAUX just showed Clark and Spock together as "news".
I was flipping around to see what the 411 was on Wilson, and I see this whole thing about Clark wanting to travel through time (which isn't true). An entire vignette with Clark, then teddy bears, then Clark, then teddy bears. Shep "I didn't mean to hit that pedestrian" Smith goes "bears never earn the right to vote, even in the future" or something like that.

Next, they show a superimposed Clark head next to Mr. Spock, and "quote" Clark as saying that Spock isn't even from Earth, how could he be a running mate?

This was on the "NEWS" portion of FAUX--not a commentary show. The rest of their news was as "straight" as it usually is.

I can't believe this channel.

1. Huh?
I'm dumbfounded. Clark said he wants to travel into the future?

the speed of light--that's his only faith based initiative.

Poor Clark, he seems to have inherited in full Al Gore's problem of being totally misquoted and taken out of context.

10. traveling to the future is easy - you just have to be patient
and let it come to you. it's traveling to the past that's hard.

4. FOX's corporate charter should be revoked
what possible purpose do they serve other than rank partisan propaganda? Why should they get tax breaks and limited liability for that?

6. WTF?
Fox 'news' has gone completely nutty.

Probably their desperate fear of Clark forces them to think this weird stuff up.

This is the sort of thing that heaps discredit on the news organization that disseminates it -- other news organizations have a chance to skewer Fox with the truth. If the night time comedy shows start running this and it becomes 'cool' to smear Clark with it, it might pick up some legs, but I doubt it. A lot of reputable news outlets have it in for Fox, and something this stupid gives them an opening.

25. The teddy bears....
I thought at first that someone in the studio had made a mistake and was running the wrong tape--but then it dawned on me that they were "serious".

And people actually watch this channel for their news information.
