In the minds of the average uninformed boobus US citizen? I think so.
Notice how there isn't any "news" coming out of the pig farm now? The dickless appears to be cornered like the rat he is by that little lady.
He looks pathetic in there, even afraid to ride his stupid clown bicycle in the fear of being spotted and cursed at by a protester.

it is IMHO to late to fix it. Yes he should have met her and got her to go home. Everyday she is there and he is "On Vacation" the American ppl are thinking about 5 weeks of vacation and the cost of Gas.

evil, nasty agenda, and the fact that my panties are in such a bunch that I can't get comfortable, I might join the rest of this country, and take a well-deserved nap and escape this nonsense. Has Halliburton got any extra Ny-Quil on hand to ease my pain and gentle my rest, I'll pay for it...I'll take out a loan!

Bush can no longer meet with Cindy on his terms, if at all. So he won't meet with her; she is dead to him. Except she isn't to the Reality-Based Community, which daily expands exponentially regarding Bushco.

The price of gasoline, though, will be, IMO, the tipping point.

10. And they see Bush* driving around in a monster truck or hauled
around in the SUV's getting about 11 mpg while troops are being killed for his oil war. More excess, along with the long vacation, two hour daily exercise sessions, and hanging out with people who can pay $5,000 a plate to see him.

They're most likely finishing the plans for the launch of their flagship product - fear of terrorism. Mark my words.

and emphasized how un-Presidential Bush is. Could we have asked for
a more revealing statement than the "I have to get on with my own life"?
Or a more pathetic display of Bush "support" that the moran who drove
over the crosses?

What strikes me is how the Neocon attack dogs (Rush, Ann, O'Reily) have
absolutely no sense of when to back off. All they would have to do to
look like decent human beings is say, "I feel for her loss, but I disagree
with her". Instead they keep digging themselves in deeper. Maureen
Dowd was right: they are attacking someone who has absolute moral
authority, and in doing so they reveal themselves as people willing to
sink to any low to promote their agenda.

is entertaining. They are falling all over themselves in a bid to see who can be the most vile and disgusting. Their masks have truly been lifted and the beasts beneath have been fully exposed.

Heck -- even the reviled Richard Nixon had the balls to meet with protesters (at the Lincoln Memorial).

For all the spin about George's great leadership and manliness -- sorry, but he always comes up short. They tell us he is warm and engaging, that he is deeply compassionate. That he feels every loss. But he SURE doesn't demonstrate it. He cancels an appearance before the Parliament of our closest ally -- for example. He does not allow anyone but deeply dedicated neoconservatives into his "town halls" and other such public contacts.

Lincoln could have met Cindy Sheehan -- it would have ended in a hug.
FDR could have met Cindy Sheehan -- it would have ended in a hug.
Truman could have met Cindy Sheehan -- it would have ended in a hug.
I even suggestion that REAGAN would have met with Mrs Sheehan, and it would have ended with a hug -- and he had the balls tohave given her an answer

I am definitely biased here, make no mistake -- Cindy asks the same questions as I have all along.

Weird observation, but what I think caused George to jump the shark at this time is his involvement with the Terri Schiavo case -- he spent all of his political capital from Sept 11 and re-election, and got some moderate people seriously questioning the notion that George is "mainstream". Oops.

George is NOT mainstream. He is a radical. He might even be an extremist.
We are seeing an American loss of life WAY OUT OF PROPORTION from what they told us it would be to meet their goals -- which are pretty unrealistic in essence. BULLSHIT! Bring our soldiers home.

14. Every day he refuses to meet with her is a fresh reminder of his stupidity
I'd never have thought that even the dumbfuck-in-chief could be so stupid as to fail to respond to her. Every day that goes by, more people see through little George. The most powerful man in the world is scared of little Cindy Sheehan. He's lower than a wuss. Lower than a snake's-belly. He's a coward. He sends his rabid troops in the Conservative Media to smear her and then pretends to be above it all at his phoney pig-farm retreat. Problem is, George, you can take out the pigs, but you can't escape the scent of pig-shit, you little pigfucker. It's with you everywhere you go. It defines you.

17. I seriously believe they thought this would blow over like every other
single issue that has any negativity addressed to this administration. I know most of the media are allowing too many slams against Cindy to occur, but for the first time in this administrations history, such actions by the media to slur someone who is opposed to them is backfiring rapidly...

Yes they jumped the shark on this one...got to cocky if you ask me that Americans wanted to stay ignorant of the truth.

As much as I am behind Cindy, Freepers think with thier pocket book and not with thier heart. Now if Pigmans and Hermaphrodite Hannity's rattings start slipping due to thier slime tactic of shamelessly attacking a women then Ill happily stand corrected.

26. perhaps so. I think because their normal SOP is vile attack...
which has worked thus far with dem politicians, who the normal joe realizes have to live with that, it comes with the territory.

Whatever possessed them to think vile attacks or outright disdain gainst a grieving gold star mom was an appropriate response?

Proverbs was right: Pride goeth before a fall.

Bush's insistence on a balanced life was the ultimate in cognitive disconnect, plain for all to see. Even the freepers can see it, but are too invested so they bypass it entirely.

The emperor has been naked all along, but the media has always been showing him from the neck up.

27. The shameless attacks will still work on some. I'm sure within the week
I'll be hearing some people mouthing a few of the more vicious RW attacks on Sheehan. There are many idiots like that. But I think given the nature of who Cindy is and the fact that many are actually starting to see what a freakin' disaster this all is, that it will be much less effective than before.

At least I'm hoping.
