the Bushies fell for Biden's crude trap
Edited on Thu Jul-28-05 08:55 PM by Cocoa
it was pretty simple.

Biden had the info, but doesn't say he has the info.

The Bushies didn't know he had the info, so they lie.

Biden produces the info.

edit, since people apparently can't read my mind, here's what the heck this is about:

Biden sent Condi Rice two letters.

first letter, yesterday I think, innocently asked if Bolton might have forgotten something when he filled out his questionnaire for the Foreign Relations Committee, regarding his involvement in any investigations.

The State Dept. responds, saying, no, everything Bolton signed his name to was true.

Biden sends a second letter today, saying "I have just learned" that in fact Bolton was interviewed (and gives the date of the interview) regarding the CIA leak.

State Dept. reverses itself, just tonight, saying Bolton "erred" on his questionnarie.

12. Who is Cocoa? For the others...
Bolton told the Senate Committee vetting him for the UN position that he had not given testimony in any court investigations int he last fiver years. His word is also in writing. Turns out he was questioned by Fitzgerald about any conversations he had with reporters on the Plame and uranium issue. He didn't admit that he had been before Fitzgerald. He lied and finally corrected the record late this afternoon. Said he didn't remember the questioning before the Grand Jury.

10. Ha! That's good stuff, way to go Biden...
Why do I feel like the Democrats know a lot more than they are letting on about this CIA case?

I hope I'm right.
