2. I've got to
see it on the rerun, too. But tomorrow I am definitely going to be watching both Hardball and Countdown. Between now and tomorrow afternoon, a lot can happen!

4. I'm not sure.
I think it will be Matthews. I believe that he feels a little bit handcuffed, because Fitzgerald has asked him not to discuss what he knows -- firsthand -- about the case. And, while the republicans may be starting an effort to discredit Matthews on this case -- because he has firsthand knowledge that can blast Karl right out of the water -- Matthews is honorable and will not speak openly until the time is right. But he will move his show in a general direction that will expose the administration as jackals. (Of course, these shows have to have "balance," meaning at times he has to let republicans lie. But the tone is going to become more focused on the crimes that the administration is "protecting.")

Perhaps more importantly will be Countdown. Wilson is going to detail the genesis of the organized effort to destroy him and his wife. Again, the republican weasals are turning up their cowardly, underhanded efforts to attack his credibility. Some will pretend they are opposed to the administration's activities, but that they think the case is hurt by Wilson's "lack of credibility."

Anyone who watches the interview this evening will find Wilson is very credible indeed. He is going to say a few things that will keep this story "front page" over the weekend. Enjoy the show!

5. What I Don't Understand
is why the show keeps having these neocons (and to me all pugs are now neos, as they support everything this rez has done, even if by default) on and giving them rein to discuss rnc talking points without challenging them? McCain was on last night and spouting garbage and I had to turn the channel because I couldn't bear hearing the lies once again. And what is wrong with McCain? They trashed him and his family and he continues to lick their boots.

6. I have lost respect for McCain.
However, I recognize that a fellow in his position, if he really had a chip on his shoulder, and resented what Rove did to him in 2000, might just heap some praise on Rove just to send a little message. McCain isn't dumb.

9. I don't get McCain either
Maybe he's running in 2008 and feels as though he won't have a chance unless he supports Bush. I think the nominee will have to be supported by Bush for them to have a chance with their base. Also Matthews was on the Daily show last year on their indecision shows and he was saying why they come on there. It's free publicity and free for them to come on so they'll keep coming on.

11. One thing, for sure:
He knows Karl Rove is lying. And Karl knows Matthews knows, and that chances are that he has testified truthfully. Puts a little pressure on Rove to blame others!

10. definitely a DVR worthy show
I'm not sure I'll be home at that time... should be interesting with the Bloomberg report implying perjury & obstruction.

THanks for the heads up.
