A repuke at work and Lieberman
A repuke at work told me today that, after watching the Democratic candidates debate, that he would vote for a ticket that had Lieberman on it.

He did not vote for Gore/Lieberman, however. He continually harps on Monica Lewinsky, listens to Rush Limbaugh at work, claimed Bush's U.N. speech was the greatest ever, talks about African-Americans having a "plantation mentality," blames Clinton for terrorism, etc.

I was stunned and pointed out that most lefties like myself do not prefer Lieberman and he said "You have to admit he's a good man."

1. I'm not surprised that he likes lieberman with all those other
issues of his. Sounds like one twisted sister!

2. Why would he vote for any Democratic ticket
if he likes Bush? That doesn't make any sense.

He's as right-wing as anyone (even though he's an art teacher, of all things, in a public school, of all places). But perhaps he can't help but see the horrific mess Bush is making of our country and the world.

Just the other day I told him, after he claimed Clinton had numerous opportunities in which Osama Bin Laden was "offered to him on a silver platter," to turn off his hate radio and open his eyes.

6. When you said he loved Bush's U.N. speech
that's what made me think he was pretty much beyond conversion.

5. Must be brainwashed,
do you notice how they all say the same things. I don't think any of them have an original thought in there heads. Just a lot of cobwebs.
