Is Scotty going to be doing a Press Briefing Monday?

That's all that's ever on the WH site until they turn on the mike. I'm sure lots of people have spent the last 4 days telling Scotty that he HAS to go out there again! I'll log onto the Wh site when it SHOULD be and see. I suspect that's all we can do.

16. Talk About Dreading Monday...LOL

There's no reason Snotty shouldn't do his daily game show...in fact, he'd be a fool not to. A cancelled briefing at the last moment in the middle of a brewing scandal (especially in light of two major magazine covers with it)...something has and will be said.

This sooo reminds me of the Ron Zeigler days. He was Nixon's press goon who stood, just like Snotty, and just lied and lied. He didn't care, he reported things as he wanted you to see them, not as they were. If I'm not mistaken he ended up with some criminal mess in Watergate (so many felons, so hard to remember).

Mike McCurry, who I have a lot of respect for, gives a real interesting viewpoint of this on Huffington Post. Mike's trying hard to pitty Snotty, but you know he and Joe Lockhart have to be laughing their asses off right now considering the free ride this regime has gotten over the past 5 years. About time!!

19. Well he got off the hook Friday

They had a travel day.

They may be dragging things out to see what lie or smear sticks the best.

If he cancels Monday that would be two days in a row (plus a full weekend), so if they cancel Tuesday it means they dont know what to say.

And that would mean its really bad.

20. He Can't Hide...

He's the official "voice" of this regime. His job is to give those briefings. I know he can cancel them, but the impression that would create would be worse than not holding them.

What I suspect is that we'll see more "Itinerary" than gaggle. You'll hear the "official word" with no room for questions or comment. Or if there's a q and a, it'll all be reffered to others or on some paper, so there will never be a direct answer.

While I have no love for Snotty, he's small change here. A lot of what's happened he really is clueless about.

As far as the WH press corps ..

Starting last Monday, for the first time in 5 years, reporters can ask questions and Karl Rove cant call their boss and get them fired.

I cant wait to see the lying piece of sh*t Scotty have to get up there again.

Any questions Snotty doesn't like will get the brush off...or a canned response.

Again, I can see these becoming more one way Snotty talks and reads Press Releases and doesn't take questions. This had been done in the past.

Now there's the "private gaggle" that isn't shown...if that's messed with then we know something is really getting bad.
