What's the etiquette for alerting Mods about Freepers?
I hit the Alert button, right? Then what do I type? Can I just yell "FREEPER! Arrrrgh!!" Or do I type "This person said such and such and blah blah blah?"

Thanks for replies.

{p.s., I had to spell-check "etiquette" so that I wouldn't mispell and have you think I was a Freeper :) )

1. The latter would be more helpful
but many people use the first method as well. :)

As long as you're not rude and don't attack the mods in your alert, you'll be fine.

9. I add a note as to why
I think they are suspect - especially if there is more than one post. Point out there own words.

3. It depends. Often a simple "it's obvious" is enough. I try to keep it
short in any case. The mods do yeoman's jobs as it is. :D

4. I don't believe in alerting, especially on Freepers.
It's much more fun to keep them around and try to talk to them. Plus there is no punishment for my extremely vicious personal attacks, something you never get to do around here.

10. I don't waste too many words
Hit Alert when the Repuke talking points are being spewed or when the newcomers show no respect for the people who have been here awhile. Usually, I wait until the subject has basically hung him/her self.
