Patiently and calmly he brought the guy around by making him examine where he got his erroneous notions and discussed the Geneva Conventions in terms of how we were incensed over Shoshana Johnson's being filmed. The caller started out saying that he thought we should slap around detainees but hung up questioning what he believed.
I think Lionel is snapping out of his centrist point of view and using his attorney skills on conservatives tonight.
