I got to meet Gov. Dean today!

I waited for him to arrive at the Daily Show studios this afternoon (all the way over on 54th & 10th, if you know NYC). I was expecting him to pull up right by the entrance in a limo or something....nope! I turned around and saw him casually strolling down the street! He was on his phone, but I went up to him and politely asked him if he could sign. Even though he was talking on the phone, he stopped and was very, very nice. After he signed, I said "Thank you for everything you've done!" He mouthed back "You're welcome"

I remember a picture of Dean during the primaries when he was on the phone and it looked like he was writing something too..I loved that pic.

He did just a brilliant job on Jon's tonight ..the whole show was stellar funny. But Dean got in some really important points and some warm applause from the audience when he said Democrats were tired of the b.s. and wanted someone to speak out for them.
