7. I was there tonight!!! It was wonderful. My friend and I drove up

from Richmond and had a whale of a time. Dean sure can fire up the crowd. Eleanor Holmes Norton was there, plus a bunch of others. Dean spoke for a good 20-25 minutes. It was truly inspiring. I just now walked in the door from the trip. I would post a photo, but I'm too dang tired and have to go to work tomorrow early. Will do it tomorrow.

Dean was great! He looked and sounded exactly as he did when running for President.

He really made some serious distinctions between the Democratic views and policies and the GOP's... with force and backbone.

One example was saying that pro life also means being sensitive to the dangers that mercury poses to unborn fetuses... and another was pointing out that George Bush does not respect anyone who doesn't agree with him, for example by rejecting Vicente Fox and helping Mexico when it would have meant a better democracy for Mexico and a better relationship between the USA and Mexico, and another example being the way Bush excludes dissenters from his fixed townhall meetings.
