AWOL found an army to fight his war with Iran
snip>
A former Pentagon official, journalist, and president of the Council on Foreign Relations, Leslie Gelb, a man with considerable political and military knowledge, came back from a fact-finding trip in Iraq...

In a report to the council, Gelb was scathing about America efforts to train an Iraqi army. ''If you ask any Iraqi leader, they will tell you these people can't fight. They just aren't trained. And yet we're cranking them out like rabbits." As for plans to train a 10 division Iraqi army by next year, Gelb was scathing. ''It became very apparent to me that these 10 divisions were to fight some future war against Iran. It had nothing to do, nothing to do," with taking Iraq over from the Americans and fighting the insurgents.

The machiavellian machinations are mind boggling ...

SOMEONE is planning this: These things doesnt simply happen ....

This is the result of a group of Neocons making decisions: We call it conspiracy .....

Conspiracy neednt always be a crock: it is the ONLY explanation for what is apparently occurring ...

8. James Bamford's "A Pretext for War"
The paperback edition released in May 2005 has a new afterword. The original release details the histories of the neocons and their connections with Israel and their longstanding attempts to get first Israel, and then the U.S. to get rid of Saddam.

The new afterword has a section called, "The Israel Factor" that draws the connections between all the big-name neocons, the PNAC signers and others, and the pro-Israel lobbying groups and think tanks.

I can't believe there hasn't been more controversy about it, for the obvious reason, and also because he details how many times Perle, Feith, Wurmser and others have been very closely connected to people under investigation by the FBI for espionage.

There is no doubt in my mind that the neocons are engaged in a conspiracy to reshape the Middle East, using America's military and Treasury. I'm not sure of their reasons, exactly. It might be oil, it might be Israel, or it might be just the sheer lure of power and being above any law.

2. Switching to Plan B.
This is good, in a way, it means they've given up on attacking Iran for now; so they are looking at longer range plans, destabilization, proxy wars, etc. They will, of course, never give up until they are physically removed from power, all of them.

6.  Rice says Iraqi security forces slowly taking control of the country
However, she says for the time being, Iraqis "don't have to be capable of resisting a massive military force that would come at them" but should be focused on counterterrorism operations.

You can tell she has something on her mind.

Iran and Iraq fighting each other. I remember hearing this could happen and it would be basically a civil war. :\ I hate what they're doing.
