Christian Wire Service: Terri Schiavo was still murdered

WASHINGTON, June 15 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Fr. Frank Pavone, who was with Terri Schiavo in the final hours and moments of her life and has called her death a murder, issued the following statement upon today’s release of her autopsy report:

“No details of this autopsy change the moral evaluation of what happened to Terri. Her physical injuries and disabilities never made her less of a person. No amount of brain injury ever justifies denying a person proper humane care. That includes food and water.

“A person with a 'profoundly atrophied' brain needs profound care and love. Terri did not die from an atrophied brain. She died from an atrophy of compassion on the part of her estranged husband and those who helped him to have her deliberately killed.”

2. Translation: the autopsy findings do not support our assertion
that Terri was beaten and neglected by her husband, but we're going to whine anyway.

3. "the moral evaluation"
Edited on Wed Jun-15-05 03:42 PM by Vash the Stampede
No, fucktards.

Here's a little memo to these assholes: That is YOUR distorted and fucked up "moral evaluation". YOUR "moral evaluation" is in no way, shape, or form the authority on all things moral and ethical, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be.

GOD THEY PISS ME OFF!! :grr: :nuke: :puke::banghead:

12. Why didn't these guys work hard to bring the husband and parents
together? If they truly believed in family values, they would have worked to find a way to bring the two sides together in the best interest of Terri.

These guys are an abomination on everything sacred and holy. Instead of telling everyone how they should feel, they should spend a few more hours trying to understand their savior's message of love and compassion - a message directly opposed to the hatred and bigotry they share with the civilized world.

6. So nanny nanny boo boo. what about the Proven fact that she was NOT
abused, Not beaten, NOT seeing, Not interacting, NOT dancing, NOT running the counter at the hospice, NOT saying "feed me", NOT following the balloon. No Broken knees and Broken ankles. No strangling. NO RECOVERY WITH THERAPY OR REHAB WOULD HAVE REVERSED IT...

8. Deliberately killed...wow let's follow that logic a ways shall we
Republicans say people must "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" and help themselves and that letting Government "take care of them" is what is destroying America. "Government Nanny State" they call it or "Welfare Nation". It is wrong to help these people because then they won't want to help themselves. Logic people. They are saying "deliberately killed". To stop force feeding a person is "deliberately killing" them.

14. And what about bush's Texas law denying life support to those patients
who can't afford it. How does that fit into their message? Why aren't they in Texas protesting the deaths of children taken off life support?

Maybe because being poor and a minority doesn't fit in with their image of a Conservative Christian (i.e., white and rich).

9. "It was her time to go. God's will". etc.
These people use those terms to explain a lot of deaths. Not in this case, however, when there are political points to be made.

15. Funny thing
with the extent of the osteopenia/osteoporosis, the physical therapy they desired her to have would have probably killed her--at the very least broken most of the bones in her body.
And yet Michael Schiavo was accused of withholding physical therapy cause he was a "bad man".
Turns out he was accurate in his assessment of what his wife was capaable of doing.

16. I guess anyone who had a relative on hospice
.. and withheld IV fluids and/or nourishment once the body failed to handle them is guilty of murder too.

I guess I had a part in murdering my dad then.

They can go fuck themselves every way possible.
