The Far Right IS the Dark Side
The Far Right lures people with their promises of... tax cuts.

They started a phony war.

They will go to great lengths such as slandering family members of their political opponents.

Give every RW'er a black cloak and the title of Darth, it's very fitting for them.

1. Actually they are more like huts
Jabba the hutt is and always will be my visual incarnation of the Republican party. A gluttonus slug with no power other than being surrounded by siccophants and the want to keep women in chains.
Hmm come to think of it wasnt Jabba's pet in return of the Jedi a monkey like creature.

2. I'm reading this while I'm watching for the second time

since I saw Episode III, Episode IV A New Hope! There are so very many parallels between the right wing overthrow of the United States government in 2000 and this series of movies.

We need someone that will be the New Hope. Maybe it will be Hillary. I hope so.

5. How's this scene for hope :)
Somewhere as the sun sets on the fragile blue green planet earth a great democratic president leader is being held by his father. A comet flies over the new borns head as john williams music cues up. That child will be the next democratic president that brings the great nation known as America another 8 years of peace and prosperity.
Okay am better now :) ) Sorry my meds are just kicking in . :)

I'm kind of surprised he didn't go with the tee shirt - considering Lucas' unwillingness to trust his audience with complex dialog.

9. I'm beginning to think the Antichrist
might be someone who speaks for tolerance and peace. If this is what the Christians on the right are standing for; greed, war, hatred, punishing the poor, disenfranchised, disabled, widowed, orphaned, handicapped, retarded, elderly, sick, torturing the presumed innocent, praying and displaying their religiosity in public....I wonder if William F. Schultz is a vegitarian... remember the pope said the Antichrist is here...and he's an upstanding white man....could he be representing the opposite of the current 'Christian' values? tinfoil hat...music from the twilight zone do do do do do do do do ....

10. "Moral" convictions.
The moral compass by any means neccesary, even when breaking the law.

""Well, I don't particularly happen to have liked the Nazis. I dislike what they did; but, who's to say it was morally wrong to gas Jews?"" James Dobson quotes famous passage.

http://www.buildingequality.us/ifas/cnp/dobson.html

The moral obsessed said it way back then, universal laws pre-date everything. Need for citizen, government or other laws is negligible because god is who makes the laws.

They are the finest group to ever run america. :wow:
