Has CSPAN always been so blatant?

I've heard several voices cut off this a.m., with a half-assed apology by the host for doing so. But it seems to me they were ALL supporting a liberal slant, while the complainer who is bitching about libs gets asked a question. :wtf:

I like C-SPAN...in-depth discussions of substance, no "shouting heads" telling the audience what to think, no "runaway brides" and Michael Jackson trials, and the rightwing callers all sound like the ignorant, emotional fools they are when they call in and try to express themselves.

But that flew the coop the minute that they decided to emulate Faux News. They figure, "Well, all they do is bash liberals, and their reatings are higher than ours. Let's copy them!"

Do yourself a favor. Pull the plug. PERMANENTLY. You'd be surprised at how rewarding life after TV can be. I haven't had it for over two years, and I manage to stay well-informed and entertained.

For the entertainment factor. Ever notice how the liberals sound intelligent and reasonable while the conservatives tend to be frothing at the mouth lunatics? If you were a C-SPAN host, who would you have more fun baiting?

He and Brian are the most obvious wingers. No, it has not always been so blatant. It has gotten progressively worse over the last two years. It seems especially bad since the last selection in November. I only watch now when I know there won't be an AEI or Heritage foundation nutjob on.
