PR Bush — Whether it's piloting a segue way, or handling international relations, nothing is as simple as it seems. Mrs. Bush was not really heckled at the Dome of the Rock or the Western Wall... video evidence to the contrary, notwithstanding. As she enters the final stretch of her five-day goodwill tour of the Middle East, you can rest assured those protestors you saw, weren't really there. And when you hear that President Karzai of Afghanistan blasted Newsweek at the White House, you can just ignore that part where he absolved the magazine of all blame for the rioting in his country. During a visit to Israel's most holy sites, sacred to Muslims, Jews and Christians alike, the First Lady was met with an unlikely consensus. Protestors, both Jewish and Muslim, heckled her at Jerusalem's Western Wall. White House Spokesman Scott McClellan called the protests quote, "a little commotion." Mrs. Bush for her part, remained un-phased.

the truth (the heckling and Karzai's comments) but the truth is in very short supply, as usual. I'm glad to see Keith bringing some attention to these.
