1. WTF does the DLC have to do with this?
I did not see Al Frum up there at the lectern.

14. They're the favorite all-purpose villain around here.
Kinda like Goldstein in 1984 and witches in Salem.

2. I can't vote in your poll because you didn't ask a question.

You made a statement, and then asked a question. That's a push poll.

5. But do you agree or disagree with the statement?
Either way, I'll read your answer and try to come up with a reasoned answer with my own. If I stumbled upon a push poll, it was unintentional.

9. I saw Byrd up there too, and apparently he was a big part of it.
Is Byrd bad now at DU? Can't keep up. . . .

I don't see The Mark of Al on this, although I'm willing to be shown. ;-)

15. The DLC's mere existance is a betrayal .
It's entire purpose is based on the Joe Stalin teaching "To defeat the opposition, you must become the opposition". The PNAC affiliation of Will Marshall and the resume of Marshall Wittman prove this beyond any reasonable doubt. They are neocon shitbag Republicans. Don't be fooled into believing otherwise.

17. Yep. "To defeat the opposition, you must become the opposition".
There you go. The DLC in a nutshell.

18. "Betrayed" somehow implies that they are usually on our side....
THis is what they do - always. This is what they exist for, to weaken and destroy the democratic party from within. Voters did not create the DLC, Huge corporations did. Why do you think they shower the DLC with all that money?
