14. Yep...
Just like Ashcroft has become one and the same with "ass", and just like "go Cheney" yourself has become one and the same with "bleep bleep", Gallowaying is speaking truth to power:)

I told him about Owen being connected to Halliburton and ENRON. I was hoping he would use some of that against her today. Maybe he'll be back? I hope!

29. He mentioned her being connected to them. I wish he mentioned Enron, too.
If the Dems could link the her to the Enron pension raid and the plans to piratize and raid SS, maybe we could get thru to some of the sheeple. Are they going to be happy eating catfood in their golden years?

15. The man went heoric
He spoke of majority rule and said on that argument, we are the majority because we represent more people than you do.

He said "you want to talk majority"... and the man went off. I recorded it, but on VHS, so cannot upload it I don't think. I am hoping someone else got it.

He ended with something to the effect that history will judge the Republicans very harshly.

13. I love Durbin. My Kind of Senator, Durbin is...
My horse came in in '88 and I went to give a bunch to the Duke. The folks at DNC said, well how about making the donation count...this guy Durbin is really great and the Duke is getting wiped out. So I just said yes. Followed him ever since. Maybe I'll show up in my DU flag tee shirt and ask him to take a pic with me. Now that would be well worth it!

18. Durbin is my Senator.......

Durbin is great, he is a real Democrat. He even tried to help me get my social security disability claim approved, but the crooks denied it anyway. Durbin should have got the Minority leaders job, he is the Ted Kennedy of Illinois. And the Republicans hate him to death, I was talking to a Republican the other day and I mentioned how great Durbin is and he almost blew a gasket, lol.

31. His wife is even cooler, if that is possible
I was on that campaign swing around the state with Obama and Durbin after the Dem convention, and ended up chatting with Michelle a lot. She's hardcore, she really despises Rethugs. Dick is combative and he really stands up for the little guy. For the first time in my life, I have two senators I respect and admire.

22. Yes. I thought I saw Biden say those things. He was great.

I thought maybe Durbin said them too because so many people were saying that up top. But, I most definitely heard all of Biden's speech and he was awesome. He did say that we, the Democrats and the Democratic Senators are the true majority of representation and at the very end he said that if the Republicans do this they will be judged very harshly.

I know there have been some things Biden has done that doesn't sit well with many Democrats. I would have to do a major study on his political past, but he, so far, is the guy I would like to see run for President. He speaks so well and has such a grasp of what is going on. I do know that he has that politician, ah..whatever you call it, going against him. I don't care. I like him.

30. FYI- Galloway has a book available-

Galloway has written a book, "I'm Not The Only One", in which he tells his side of his expulsion from the Labour Party for opposing the invasion of Iraq and also gives an insider's view of politics in Whitehall. "He also discusses the present day global conflicts, the war on terrorism, the problems in the Middle East and many other issues, including his personal encounters with world leaders, his role in Stop The War Campaign and Respect:The Unity Coalition." The paperback edition was published this year:
